    Description

    Lot of Two German-Made 1860 Cavalry Sabers. Including: 1) J.E. Bleckmann made sword with a 34 ½" slightly curved blade. Bleckmann's bow and arrow logo is stamped on the reverse ricasso. Wooden grip retains the wire wrap, but the leather is totally absent. Iron scabbard with a smooth grey patina. Blade generally bright with a few small nicks in the cutting edge. Very good. 2) Henry Boker made sword with a 34 ½" slightly curved blade. Obverse ricasso marked "Henry Boker / Solingen". Brass hilt a bit tarnished. Plated scabbard with a few trivial shallow dents. A well-made sword in very good condition.
