    Lot of Two German Faschinenmesser Short Swords. Including: 1.) Regimentally marked short sword with an 18 ¾-inch blade, 24-inches overall. No maker's mark. Gilded-brass handle. Complete with the leather scabbard. The sword is regimentally marked "107.R.7.78" on the cross guard; the scabbard marked 107.L.R.1.B.3.116". 2.) Another example, without scabbard. The blade measures 19-inches and the sword is just over 24-inches overall. The blade is maker marked "P.D.L." (P.D. Lüneschloss & Companie, Solingen).

    Condition: 1.) Sword is in very good condition; the scabbard with some scuffing to the leather. 2.) Very good. Blade with a smooth gray patina and scattered spotting.
