    Lot of Two Foot Artillery Short Swords.
    Comprising: 1.) U.S. Model 1832 Foot Artillery Sword. 19-inch, bright, unmarked blade. Cast brass hilt with U.S. eagles on the pommel. Black leather scabbard with gilded brass throat and tip. 2.) French Model 1831 Artillery Sword with a 19 ¼-inch bright blade. Blade hallmarked and dated 1837. Cast brass hilt. Black leather scabbard with brass throat and tip.

    Condition: 1.) Very good. The leather on the scabbard has some crazing to the surface and the ream seam has come unsewn. Scabbard tip loose; throat with shallow dents. 2.) Very good. The blade has some dark spots from scabbard storage.
