    Lot of Two European Swords. Comprising: 1.) Spanish military sword. 30 ½-inch straight, bright blade with "FABRICA DE TOLEDO" on the obverse ricasso. Bright plated hilt with unpierced guard bearing an eagle surmounted by a crown. Checkered grips. Plated metal scabbard with one mounting ring. 2.) Unidentified continental sword. 31-inch curved blade with faint traces of etched floral designs on either side. Iron hilt and "P" guard. Grooved wooden grip. No visible maker's marks. Lacks scabbard.

    Condition: 1.) Very good. Blade remains generally bright; scabbard with some loss to plating. 2.) About very good. Blade with uniform gray patina and a few small nicks in the cutting edge. Hilt with about 75% black paint remaining.
