    Lot of Two Assorted Japanese Swords. Comprising: 1) WWII Japanese Officer Shin Gunto. 26 1/2-inch blade. Copper hibaki. Military tsuba. Two seppa. Brown cord-wrapped fishskin grip. Brown kashira. Contained in a plain modern wood storage scabbard. Original scabbard missing. 2) WWII Japanese NCO Sword with Scabbard. 30 1/2-inch unmarked, slightly curved, nickel-plated blade with temper line and single fuller. Standard pattern brass hilt with wire-wrapped grip. Nickel-plated steel scabbard with single ring mount. Fragment of silk ribbon attached. Condition: 1) Good as configured. Blade needs professional cleaning, no nicks. Grip possibly rewrapped. Scabbard a modern replacement. 2) Very good. Blade with light wear. Grip with loose and incomplete wire-wrap. Guard with light wear and patina. Scabbard very good.
