    Description

    Lot of Three Miscellaneous 19th Century Swords. Including: 1) German-made sword with a 30" curved blade with wide fullers running to within 1 ½" of the tip. The blade is maker marked "Schimmelbusch" and "Solingen" and is sparsely decorated with panoplies of arms and simple floral imagery. Horn grip and simple brass guard. Blade uniformly gray with scattered dark spots; minor dings in the cutting edge; grips chipped near the pommel, otherwise very good condition. 2) British Napoleonic War era sword, 32" straight blade with single fullers on either side running nearly the entire length of the blade; blade engraved with panoplies of arms and other floral motifs accented in gilt (much lacking). Brass hilt with folding clamshell guard and single D-shaped knuckle bow. Very good. 3) Unmarked sword with 27 ½" slightly curved blade. Brass guard lacking with some loss to the wood grip. Good condition.
