    Lot of three Assorted Sword Blades. Comprising: 1) Composite Sword. 32 1/2-inch Northern European style blade with etched talismans including sun and half moon. Dual narrow and wide fullers. c 17th century. Ethnographic horn hilt. 2) U.S. 1850 Officer's Staff and Field Sword Blade. 31 1/2-inch etched and nickel-plated blade with narrow fuller. Etched panels display panoply of arms, federal eagle. "U.S.", floral scrolls and "E. PLURIBUS UNUM." Ricasso marked, "W.H. / HORSTMANN / & SONS / PHILADELPHIA." Tang marked, "J.A." 3) American or English Horseman's Saber Blade c 1770. 32 1/2-inch slightly curved blade with 3 fullers. Blade marked with two concave facing semi-circles, possibly decommission marks. Condition: 1) Good as configured. Blade a dark gray-brown patina with patches of pitting. Tip slightly bent. 2) Very good to fine. Retaining approximately 70-80% original nickel finish with scattered spotting and patches of light surface rust. 3) Good. Moderate age wear and patina. Scattered patches of staining, pitting and light surface rust.
