    Lot of Three 19th Century Swords.
    Including: 1.) Non-regulation U.S. Model 1850 foot officers' sword with a 31 ¼-inch bright, slightly curved blade with wide fullers running to within 9-inches of the point. No visible maker mark. Brass hilt with wire-wrapped leather grips. Brown leather scabbard with brass mounts. Lower mounting strap present. 2.) Unmarked 1860 cavalry sword with a 32 ½-inch slightly curved blade. Brass hilt and leather-wrapped grip. Pommel stamped "No 87", "1 - S" and "1 - E". Iron scabbard missing the throat attachment. 3.) Unidentified sword with 35-inch curved blade with wide fullers extending to within 7-inches of the point. No visible markings. Brass hilt and grooved wooden grip. No scabbard.

    Condition: 1.) About very good. Blade remains bright with some modest minor spotting and surface rust. Scabbard missing the lower 6-inches including the brass drag. 2.) Fair. Blade with an overall gray patina with moderate spotting and pitting. Grip lacking wire wrapping and slightly loose on the tang. Scabbard rusty with moderate to heavy shallow denting. 3.) Good. Blade with a smooth gray patina; wood lacking covering and with two small cracks.
