    Lot of 4 Ethnographic Swords and Knives. Comprising: 1) West African Carved Ceremonial Sword. 29-inch hardwood relief-carved blade with incised median. Integral guard, grip and pommel cap. 2) West African Ceremonial Sword. Of carved hardwood construction. 25-inch slightly curved blade with integral grip and pommel cap. 3) West African Ceremonial Sword. Of one piece carved hardwood construction. 14-inch slightly curved and shortened blade. Relief-carved rounded guard and rounded pommel. 4) Bali Dagger. 8 1/4-inch slightly curved, single-edged blade. Long, iron ferrule. Figural grip of squatting human form. Contained in one piece hardwood scabbard. Condition: 1) Fair to good. Blade with a nice, dark patina. Heavy age wear. Losses near tip. Moderate soiling. 2) Good with heavy use wear. Light soiling. 3) Poor. Tip of sword absent and smoothed a long time ago. Heavy soiling. Splinter chip to pommel. 4) Good. Blade with numerous fine scratches. Moderate use wear throughout. Fine patina.
