    Description

    Late 19th or Early 20th Century Named U.S. Model 1852 Naval Officers' Sword and Scabbard. 29 ¾" bright blade etched with floral scroll, fouled anchors and other military designs. Engraved in a panel on the obverse side of the blade is the officer's name "JOHN H BLAND". The reverse ricasso is etched with the maker's name "OEHM & CO. / BALTIMORE". White fish skin grips complete with wire wrap. Guard loose on the tang. Very good condition with scabbard.
