    Late 18th or Early 19th Century U.S. Naval Cutlass. 28" single-edge, ever-so-slightly curved blade with narrow fuller near the back of the blade running from the hilt to the beginning of the false edge. Iron guard. Grip an old replacement. Blade uniformly dark with scattered pitting, surface rust, and a dulled point, otherwise in good condition.
