    Description

Imperial German Noncommissioned Officers' Sword. 31", bright slightly curved blade made by Weyersberg & Co., Solingen. The obverse of the blade is ornately etched with floral scroll, military motifs, and a profile of Kaiser Wilhelm. The reverse is likewise decorated in floral scroll with an Imperial eagle and the logo "Mit Gott Für Kaiser und Reich". Brass standard dove's head with P-guard hilt. Leather frog with gold bullion knot. Leather scabbard with brass throat and tip and single mounting ring. The leather on the scabbard is slightly dry and crazed, otherwise with the exception of a slightly dulled tip, this handsome sword is in excellent condition.
