    German Made Model 1860 Cavalry Officers' Sword and Child's Cavalry Sword.
    The lot includes: 1.) 1860 Cavalry officers' sword made by Clauberg, Solingen with a 27-inch blade with faint acid etched decoration. The obverse side is stamped with the Clauberg logo; the reverse is stamped "F. Folsom & Co. / St. Louis". Brass hilt decorated with floral scroll. The wood grip is exposed but what appears to be the original leather covering remains, though detached. Iron scabbard with brass throat, mounts and drag. The obverse side of the mounts and drag bear interesting decoration. 2.) 19th Century 1860 style child's sword with a 25 ½-inch bright slightly curved blade, decorated brass hilt and wire-wrapped horn handle. Metal scabbard with two carrying rings.

    Condition: 1.) Good. Blade with a smooth gray patina; grip missing leather, as noted; scabbard with surface pitting. 2.) Very good. Light surface rust on the blade which can be removed with polishing; scabbard with some surface rust and a few shallow dents.
