    Description

    Civil War Era Emerson & Silver U.S. Model 1860 Cavalry Saber. 35 ½-inch curved blade marked "Emerson & Silver / Trenton N.J." on the reverse ricasso and "N.J." on the obverse ricasso. This example with no date stamp. Remnants of the leather throat washer. Wire-wrapped leather grips mostly intact. Iron scabbard with two mounting rings.

    Condition: About very good. Blade with an overall plum-colored patina; one break in the wire wrap.
