    British Georgian-Era Lions Head Cavalry Officers' Saber.
    30 ½-inch, single-edged wide blade with broad fullers running to within 6-inches of the point. The blade features some simple engraving including a panoply of arms and George cypher and crown. A gilded-brass hilt features a large lions head pommel and knuckle bow with George cypher and crown. Checkered bone grips. Black leather scabbard with gilded brass mounts.

    Condition: Very good. Blade is relatively bright with scattered mottled dark spots; the bone grip displays some cracks; traces of gilt remain on hilt; the leather of the scabbard is cracked and a bit dry; the lower brass mount is cracked.
