    Bavarian Infantry Officer's Saber.
    32 ½-inch slightly curved plated blade with single fuller and false edge. Blade etched on either side with oak leaf decoration, Bavarian shield and motto "In Treue Fest". Eichhorn maker's mark on the reverse ricasso. Brass hilt and wire-wrapped grip. Black painted steel scabbard.

    Condition: Good. Blade retains all plating with a few small nicks on the cutting edge and trivial scabbard wear. Brass hilt with some dark areas; grip has shrunk a bit making the fit loose. Wire wrap a complete but a bit loose. Scabbard retains about 65% original black paint.
