    Description

    American Militia Officers' Eagle Head Sword, Circa 1800. 27 ¼" curved blade with a narrow unstopped fuller running to within 9" of the point. Faint traces of light etched decoration visible. Blade a smooth gray with scattered light pitting and areas of dark spotting. Grip replaced. Unadorned brass hilt with eagle head pommel. Leather scabbard, broken just above the iron tip, but with upper iron mounts. Very good condition. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg.
