    A Very Fine Early Shin Shinto O-Katana, Signed Dotonuki Naoyuki with NBTHK Green Paper.

    Blade with 81 cm. cutting edge, deep sori with extreme active Chogi Midare Hamon (temper line). Ubu Nakago (tang) with full 8 character signature. Itame Hada. Blade in full bright polish with fine cat scratched silver habaki (possibly original). Nagako with sujikai file marks.
    Condition of tang is exc. condition of blade with some loose grain, but no series Kizu. Fine blade has Honoki Sharisaya wood. Kosherai with Iron fuchiksaria shishi dog manuki, good sukashi tsuba. Large iron kojiri. Red ribbed saya at top, black roiro lacquer for 3 quarters of lenght of saya. A remarkable fine katana by know maker with papers.
