    A Handsome Soft Metal Dragon Mounted Daisho, the Dai by Nobukuni Yoshimasa, the Sho also by Nobokuni Yoshimasa.

    The katana blade with 69 cm cutting edge, fine choji medare hamon. Nashichi-hada. O-Surige nakago with 2 mekugiana preserving full signature. Condition of blade in full polish with no flaws. Nakago with good color, perfect signature. Contained in honoki wood shirasaya with extensive sayagaki. The heavy wakizashi blade with 50.6 cm cutting edge and midare hamon. Mokume hada. Ubu nakago with 2 makugiana and full heishiro nobukuni Yoshimasa signature. Blade is in full polish with some extremely minor lose hada. Silver habaki in old honoki wood shiarsaya with extensive sayagaki. Full Daisho mounts with shakudo nanako fuchi kasura with gilt dragons. Red lacquer same, gilt dragon menuke of modern manufacture. Black string wrap. Katana tsuba shakudo nanako, wakizashi with gilt prunus blossom rim. Scabbards of black ishime lacquer of recent manufacture. Handsome Daisho with Important Yoshimasa blades. With NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon paper for Daito and the Sho.
