    A Fine Shin Shinto Katana Signed and Dated by Mito Tokukatsu.
    The 60.8 cm cutting edge and suguha hamon. Itma hada ubu nakago with 2 mekugi ana and 9 character Tokukatsu signature. reverse with date, beautiful yoko ysarume. Blade is in full polish, virtually flawless. Gilt copper cat scratched habaki in honoki wood shirasaya. A fine heavy pristine signed and dated shin Shinto katana. Tokukatsu mounts comprised long tsuka with matching sentoku fuchikasa with kasado with gold highlights. Good quality menuke moko forrm, iron tsuba decorated with tiger and gold dragon. Scabbard of recent manufacture in violet lacquer. With NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon origami.
