    A Diminutive Shin Shinto Tanto Attributed to Seuyuki in Elaborate Hiramakie Lacquer Scabbard.

    The blade with 16.4 cm cutting edge and notare hamon with itame hada. Nakago mumei with 1 mekugi-ana. Condition of blade in good state of polish with few minor stains. Grain is loose but has no kizu. Nakago is bright indicating a late Shin Shinto period. Plain lacquer tsuka with silver fuchi-kashira. Saya with plain koiguchi. Waribashi and kojiri. Saya of black roiro lacquer, decorated and relief with birds on a branch. Lacquer signed with 5 character signature and kakehan. Copper habaki. Mounts with NBTHK Hozon origami.
