    Starr Contract of 1818 Cavalry Saber and Imperial German Model 1873 Artillery Sword. Includes: 1.) Starr Contract of 1818 cavalry saber with a 32-inch curved blade marked "US / P / LS / N. Starr" on the obverse ricasso. Iron hilt with leather-wrapped grip. This example with a small circular brass property tag marked "36" attached to the hilt via string. No scabbard. 2.) Imperial German M73 artillery sword with a 29 ½-inch curved blade with a Simpson maker mark and additional Imperial proofs. Complete with iron scabbard.

    Condition: 1.) Good. Blade and hilt with an overall dark finish, leather grip still present. 2.) Very good. Nice blade, hilt and scabbard dark from age.
