    Spanish Folding Bowie Knife with Etched Blade and Leather Scabbard. 8-inch lockback clip point blade with gold-washed etched panels of foliate, bird and animal motifs including mounted bull's head flanked with swords. Left side marked: El Penon and Toledo. Ricasso marked Gibraltar. Unadorned swivel guard and folding button release. Stag grip panels. Contained in form-fitted brown leather scabbard with German silver tip. Belt loop. Overall length: 12 3/4-inches when opened.
    Conditon: Very good to fine. Blade with fine scratches and some small nicks. Panels showing attractive lustre and age patina.. Minor pitting on ricasso. Grip panels retaining nearly all of a later re-varnish. Scabbard very good with age wear and light soiling.
