Ralph Bone Small Skinning Knife owned by Warren Page.
3-inch skinning and fleshing blade marked: V113 and stamped with a small bone image. Brass guard and spacer. Dark brown Coco Bolo grip with brass pommel marked: WP. Built up sheath with brass snap. Sheath marked: JOHNSON'S LEATHER , CASSELBERRY,FLA.
Note: In the April 1971 issue of Field & Stream, Warren Page writes: Ralph Bone, who works with Sam Arnett in Lubbock, Texas, once made for me and now offers in his catalog of hunting and combat designs a little "caper" which has a uniquely shaped handle of tropical hardwood and a leaf-formed blade under 2 1/4 inches in working length. In the taking of a trophy cape, this is near-perfection for those touchy places around horns, eyes, and lips. The knife is pictured on page 61 and is third from the left.
Condition: Very Good, shows use. Blade, guard and pommel are tarnished. Blade has been sharpened. Very light verdigris. Sheath shows wear.
