    Description

Pair of Unusual Blades and Scabbards. First is a trade dagger or spear point, 11-5/8" long and 2" wide. The 4" tang has two holes drilled for rivets. The tang is stamped "HBC" for Hudson's Bay Company. It is accompanied by an unmatched 16" tooled leather scabbard with two loop tabs. The scabbard was probably originally intended for a bolo. Second is a highly interesting 15" unmarked fighting knife with trailing point, and steel guard, bolster, and butt cap on staghorn. It is in good condition with overall discoloring, some pitting, and rust on the fittings. It is matched with a buffalo hide scabbard on a 2-3/4" wide 36" long belt.
