    Japanese Wakizashi in Koshirae.
    Having a 18 1/4" slightly curved blade with high wavy temper line. Gilt copper habaki with vertical lines on surface. Black polished circular iron tsuba with gold edge. Brown cord-wrapped fishskin grip with gilt-wing dragonfly. Brass fluted edge and double serrated edge seppas. Matching polished black fuchi & kashira with incised gold-washed insects and snake motif. Contained in lacquered wood scabbard simulating a wood grain with insects. Scabbard mounts match the sword mounts with polished black fittings and incised gold-washed insects.

    Condition: Blade is excellent with a slightly cloudy finish, no visible flaws. Corded wrap shows wear and is broken and loose at the peg. Scabbard lacquer is excellent with a few minor chips. Missing its kogatana.
