    Description

    Japanese Tanto and Katana in Koshirae.
    The Tanto having a slightly curved flat 10 1/8" blade. Silver washed copper habaki. Aikuchi style mounts with black cord wrapped handle. Black lacquered plain copper fuchi & kashira. Contained in copper mounted wooden scabbard with black lacquer simulating a wood grain
    .
    Condition: Blade. Good showing cleaning, sharpening and areas of dark staining. Handle exhibits lacquer chipping on the copper mounts. Scabbard with a deep gouge and a few minor dents.

    The Katana having a slightly curved 25 1/2" blade. Copper habaki. No handle or mounts. Contained in a leather covered wooden scabbard.

    Condition: Blade is poor with areas of surface rust and pittng at the tip. Scabbard leather shows wear.
