Note: This item is lot number 3507 on the Invoice from International Studio Art Division, The Hearst Corp. of which a photocopy is included in the sale. According to consignor and paperwork provided, this item was obtained by Shirley Temple Black from the Hearst warehouse in 1963 to complement her decorating and collecting habits. In the form, the item states, "Dagger, India, XVIII Century, Rock Crystal Hilt, Gilt Mounting, Velvet Scabbard, Gold Mounting L.14 1/2".
    Provenance:
Originally collected for William Randolph Hearst.

Gold color mounts on scabbard very good with fine scratches and a few dents from storage and/or handling. Some separations and one tear 1/2-inch tear to velvet.
