    Mid-19th Century Naval Cutlass and Scabbard. 26-inch slightly curved polished steel blade with deep fuller. Anchor marked on both sides. Ricasso marked, "S&K." Reverse with "L" and consignor's inventory number 266/JKL in white. Flat guard and integral cupped knucklebow. Steel grip and oval pommel cap. Guard is stamped "1557." Contained in steel scabbard with belt hook and consignor's inventory number "266" in white. Condition: Good. Scattered patches of fine pitting and light surface rust. Will clean up nicely. Guard and knucklebow showing age wear and dents.
