    Description

    Masonic Sword in the 1860 Staff and Field Officers' Form. 28 ½" blade etched with floral decoration and "Asa Burlingame" on the reverse; and "Loyal Legion" on the obverse. The blade is marked "The / M. C. Lilley & Co. / Columbus / Ohio" on the reverse ricasso. The hilt is gilded brass, the guards ornately decorated with panoplies of arms and other patriotic scenes. The sword is complete with nickeled scabbard with brass mounts and drag. The blade is a bit gray, the scabbard has a few shallow dents, and the grip is lacking the wrapping, otherwise it is in very good condition.
