    Lot of Two U.S. Eagle Pommel Swords. Including: 1) Handsome eagle pommel sword with ribbed bone grip, brass guard and of course, brass eagle pommel. The curved blade measures 28 ½" and is etched with gilded floral decoration set against blued panels on either side of the blade. The blade has wide fullers on either side extending to within about 8" of the tip. Lacking scabbard, otherwise in very good condition. 2) A second example, this with a 28" long curved blade, not maker marked and lightly etched. Ribbed bone grip with decorative knuckle bow and matching counter guard. Complete with brass scabbard with two mounting rings. The scabbard has scattered shallow dents and dings, and some cracking at the edges. The blade has surface rust and staining from scabbard storage.
