    Lot of Two Fine Custom Knives. Comprising: 1) Hunting Knife by Morseth. 3 1/2-inch polished steel, hollow ground blade, the back edge with maker's mark: MORSETH. Plated guard with single quillon. Black, gold and brown spacers. Blond Micarta grip.

    The Morseth brand of knives was founded by Harry Morseth, a native of Norway who emigrated to the United States at age 17. After his death his grandson, Steve Morseth continued making knives under the Morseth name. AG Russel bought the rights to the name and the equipment in 1971.

    2) Cased Sauer Lock Blade Knife. 3 1/4-inch damascus blade the left side stamped: CHARLES SAUER/MAKER/MONTANA. Stainless steel grip with damascus pattern inlaid with mother-of-pearl oval. Contained in fine Rosewood case.
    Charles is the first and only knifemaker invited to the The Vintager's Cup Championship in Pinetail Point, Maryland and the New York Game Conservancy at Hudson Farm. He has also been a booth holder at the Safari Club International in Reno, Nevada for the last five years.
