    Lot of Two Civil War Era Swords. Comprising: 1) U.S. Model 1860 Naval Cutlass by Ames. 25 3/4-inch slightly curved blade, the ricasso marked: Ames Mfg. Co./Chicopee, Mass. Reverse: [anchor]/1861. Brass cup hilt. Wire-wrapped black leather grip. No scabbard. 2) Confederate Constructed "D" Guard Bowie. 19 1/4-inch curved blade made from a file with one-piece "D" guard brass hilt made from elements from a French sword. No scabbard. Condition: Both showing wear, pitting and age patina.
