    Lot of Two Assorted Swords. Comprising: 1) Spanish 19th Century Cavalry Saber. 27 1/2-inch slightly curved blade with inscription on right side reading: Intd. Faba. De Toledo 1885, One-piece brass hilt with integral 'D' guard and ribbed grip. Leather scabbard with brass mounts. 2) U.S. Naval Officers' Dress Sword by Henry Jacobs, New York. 30-inch straight blade, etched with floral scrolls, patriotic and naval motifs; also etched with owner's name: Gunner Richard H. Cheney. U.S.N. Standard pattern brass hilt with wire-wrapped rayskin grip. Black leather scabbard with nautical theme brass mounts. Condition: 1) Fair to good. Showing age wear and patina. Scabbard with seam separations and heavy wear. 2) Good to very good. Showing age wear and patina. Blade excellent. Name could be researched.
