    Description

    Lot of Two African Ethnographic Knives. Comprising two examples from the Cameroon or Tikar[ Bali] tribal regions of west central Africa south of the Nigerian border and the Benue river. Both have hand forged steel blades with incised linework and carved wooden grips. The second knife sold together with colorful fabric-covered scabbard, typical of this area. Lengths are 21-inches and 19-inches. Condition: Both are fair to good, showing age wear, light pitting, repairs and dark patina. Fabric on #2 scabbard is faded with minor internal insect damage.
