Lot of Three U.S. Mounted Officers' Swords. Including: (1) The first example with a 32" curved blade which is sparsely decorated with floral designs. Brass reverse "P" guard with wire wrapped leather grip. Leather scabbard with brass mounts. One moderate nick in the blade, the sword doesn't quite seat all the way in the scabbard, otherwise a very good example. (2) Another example, this with a 28" curved blade with faint floral etching. Brass hilt and bone grip. Black leather scabbard with brass mounts. Blade with overall smooth gray patina; scabbard worn and scuffed, otherwise in very good condition. (3) The final example with a 36" curved bright blade, wider than the previous two examples (1.75"), and with wide fullers running to within 10" on the tip of the sword. No visible maker's marks. Hilt lacks leather covering and wire wrapping. No scabbard. Scattered staining to blade, though much of it could be cleaned off, otherwise very good condition.
