    Lot of Three Swords: 19th Century Briquet Sword, Early 19th Century American Short Sword and French Officers' Sword. Includes: 1) Early American stag handle sword with iron hilt and shortened 24" slightly curved blade in poor condition. 2) French officers' sword with a spurious "W. J. McELROY / MACON" stamp on the obverse ricasso of the 30" curved blade. Gilded-brass hilt with wire-wrapped horn grip. Very good condition. 3) French Briquet sword with a 28 ¼" curved blade and cast brass hilt. Fair condition.
