    Description

Lot of Three Mexican Officers' Swords With Patterns in the German Style. All three swords are of similar design with nickel-silver lion's head pommels and half-basket hilts with the Mexican national eagle. The straight blades with twin fullers measure approximately 31 ½" in length. The blades are etched with floral scroll and "INDEPENDENCIA". All blades appear to be Toledo manufactured though a faint German Eickhorn logo is visible on one example. All examples retain either their metal or leather scabbards. Though one is lacking the grip covering and wire wrapping, all examples are in very good condition. From the estate of Houston collector Brent Burg.
