    Lot of Four [4] Interesting Small Dirks Including J. Rodgers & Sons.

    Comprising: 1) Approximately 11 1/2-inches overall. Having a 6-inch spearpoint blade. Dirk with interesting wooden horse handle motif [horseshoe present], elements. Nickel-silver guard. Contained in brown leather sheath. 2) Approximately 11-inches overall. Having a 4 1/2-inch serpentine style curved blade. Harwood handle, fancy brass guard. 3) Approximately 9 1/2-inches overall. Having a 4 1/2-inch blade. Ricasso marked E [crown] R / J. RODGERS & SONS / 6 NORFOLK ST. / SHEFFIELD ENGLAND and [proofmarks] obverse. Cutlery handle embossed with elaborate raised studs, together with sheath. Nickle-silver guard with round finials and 4) Approximately 10 1/2-inches overall. Having a 5 1/2-inch spearpoint blade with sheath. Stag handle, hidden tang.

    Condition: Overall, all appear good with normal age wear, some replacements present. 1) Handle, good. Blade somewhat sharp, but moderate pitting throughout, sheath with heavy wear, losses. 2) Handle good with some losses, blade with parts of pitting and use. Sheath with moderate wear. Dents present. 3) Handle, very good. Blade with minor spots, appears to have been cleaned, dents present to sheath. 4) Handle, fine. Blade with spots throughout but concentrate heavier near ricasso.
