    Description

    Lot of 3 North African Knives. Comprising: 1) Moroccan or Algerian Flyssa, the Knife of the Kabyles.13-inch slightly curved, engraved and brass-inlaid blade. Figural pommel of bird [?] head in art deco style. Back edge and grip with profuse incised linework. Contained in relief-carved hardwood scabbard with integral sling loop. 2) Similar to #1 above but without scabbard. 12 3/4-inch blade. 3) Similar to #1 above but with 12-inch, straight, tapered blade. Non-figural, engraved pommel. Scabbard similar to #1. Condition: 1) Fine. Blade with minor spotting and scattered patches of fine pitting. Scabbard with tiny sliver chip at throat. 2) Fine. 3) Fine to excellent. Only very minor scattered pitting observed. Scabbard excellent.
