    Lot of 2 Composite German Hunting Swords. Comprising: 1) German Hunting sword with 21-inch straight, tapered blade with narrow fuller at back edge. Blade and ricasso engraved with foliate and hunting scenes with gold wash. Brass clamshell guard with hexagonal, straight quillons. Slightly curved one-piece stag grip with brass buttons and brass sunburst pommel and button cap. 2) Composite German Hunting Sword. 22-inch straight blade with curved tip and foliate style etched fuller. Ricasso marked, "TJIKR/190." Brass clamshell guard with acorn or hoof finials. Aluminum ferrule above slightly curved, one-piece antler grip with three brass buttons. Brass ferrule below radial brass pommel and knurled pommel cap. Condition: 1) Very good as configured. Blade a fine polished steel with scattered staining, fine scratches and signs of having been lightly cleaned. Some light pitting on back edge. Loose guard with fine patina and possibly a replacement. 2) As number 1 and with light pitting on blade. Aluminum ferrule a later replacement.
