    Large Antique English Spearpoint Bowie Knife by John Pound & Co. Having a 10-inch straight, spearpoint blade with median ridge. Left side of blade marked: John Pound & Co./81, 82 & 83 Leadenhall Street, E .C./ENGLAND. Flat German silver crossguard of ovoid form. Steel tang mounted with heavily checkered black composition scales, held by four German silver rivets. Left side with vacant oval escutcheon. Contained in an associated brown leather scabbard. Condition: Knife: Very good to excellent. Blade showing minor wear with scattered micro pitting. Hilt with light wear overall. Scabbard with wear and seam separation and missing belt loop.
