    Sheffield Folding Bowie Knife by Joseph Maywood with Leather Scabbard. Having a 9 1/2-inch clip-point blade with ricasso marked: [maker logo tea kettle], the reverse marked: Joseph Maywood/& Compy/Glamorganworks/Sheffield. Flush-mounted release tab. Fine checkered horn grip panels retained by 5 steel rivets. Left side with German silver oval release button. Contained in original fine brown leather scabbard with belt loop.
    Condition: Very good. Blade with two small patches of pitting near tip and false edge otherwise fine. Scattered fine scratches. Grips are fine with light age patina. Scabbard Fine. Possible period repair to belt loop. Mechanically tight.
