Pair of Unmarked Classic Bowie Knives, with scabbards. Both knives feel good in the hand. a. Shallow clip point 10" blade (15-3/4" overall) with steel ferrule and rear bolster, band and butt cap. The staghorn grip is partially checkered. The condition is very good, consistent with age. With it is a buffalo hide (cowhide?) covered leather scabbard and 48" belt. b. 12-3/4" knife, shallow clip-point 8" blade with integral quillions, through tang, polished bone handle, and steel rear bolster and peen. The blade is heavily ground and polished; the tang and butt cap show a lot of rust. The scabbard is leather, stitched with copper rivets, 13-3/4" overall with 9-5/8" sheath.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
