    Morseth Bowie Knife.
    6-inch clipped point blade marked: 19MORSETH89. Unusual marking left side of blade. German silver guard with dual quillons. Red, gold and black bands above hardwood and stag grip. Gold locking nut. Contained in fine, unmarked light brown leather scabbard with snap closure and stitched belt loop.

    The Morseth brand of knives was founded by Harry Morseth, a native of Norway who emigrated to the United States at age 17. After his death his grandson, Steve Morseth continued making knives under the Morseth name. AG Russel bought the rights to the name and the equipment in 1971.
