DescriptionMassive Bowie Knife by Walt Kneubuhler. 9 1/2-inch clipped point blade. Ricasso marked: W?[anvil] K. and is a 3/4-inch wide mark. German silver guard with pointed quillons. Lively grained, lustrous hardwood grip. Hexagonal pommel cap.
Walter L. Kneubuhler (1906-1982) began making knives in the mid 1950s. All WK Knives have always been completely handcrafted by their maker, from the treating of the steel to the stitching of the sheaths. Walt would never sell a knife without a sheath and prided himself on producing quality knives within a price range that most any person could afford.
Condition: Fine. Scattered fine spotting to blade otherwise excellent. Light handling wear to guard and grip. Scabbard excellent.
