    Lot of Two Horsehead Folding Bowie Knives.
    (1) Circa 1830s-1850s. 8-1/8"?closed lockback folding bowie knife with clip point blade marked SAMUEL?C?WRAGG FURNA[ce Hill Sheffield] and IMPROVED?PATENT?CUTLERY. Wooden handle scales with ivory and pearl inlays, nickel silver horsehead pommel with cannon and anchor motif. Handle scales are old replacements, guard quillons have been clipped off to form bolsters. Blade is loose, has been cleaned and is about 3/4"?short. Poor. (2) Circa 1850s-1880s. 5-1/4"?closed lockback folding bowie knife with clip point blade marked WINGFIELD?&?ROWBOTHAM SHEFFIELD?and angel trademark. Stag handle scales with patch in obverse side, small hairline crack on reverse, locking latch may be a replacement. Excellent.
