    Lot of Two Folding Dirk Knives Including One Switchblade.
    Comprising: (1) Circa 1830s. Switchblade folding dirk knife by George Wostenholm, 5-1/4" closed, with push button mechanism (blade does not stay closed). Replaced horn handle scales with shell pattern guard. Dagger ground blade marked IXL [W] (crown) R George Wostenholms Celebrated Folding Dirk and Warranted of the Best Quality, blade is about 3/8"?short. Good. (2) Circa 1840s-1860s. Lockback folding dirk knife, 5-1/8" closed, with swell end handle and nickel silver LIBERTY?&?UNION?guards and shield, horn handle scales in inlaid mother of pearl discs. Spear point blade marked BEST?ENGLISH?CUTLERY. Excellent.
