    Lot of Two Assorted Antique English Bowie Knives with Scabbards. Comprising: 1) Antique English Bowie Knife by George Wostenholm & Son, Sheffield. Having a 7 ½-inch, tapered spear-point blade marked: G. Wostenholm & Son/Washington Works./Sheffield. Ricasso marked: I*XL. German silver flat crossguard of ovoid form. Hilt with German silver bolsters and integral grip and pommel. Antique ivory gripscales held in place by four German silver rivets. Vacant rectangular escutcheon with pointed ends. Contained in original burgundy leather scabbard with gilt line decoration and I*XL stamp. German silver mounts. No belt stud present. 2) Antique English Bowie Knife by R. Walker, Sheffield. Having a 7-inch spear-point blade, the ricasso marked: R. Walker/Sheffield. Flat German silver crossguard and checkered black composition gripscales. Contained in a period olive green leather scabbard with German silver mounts. No belt stud present. Condition: No. 1. Very good. Blade showing wear and minor spots of pitting. Scabbard with light wear and missing belt stud. 2) Excellent. Blade showing little, if any use, hilt with light age wear and patina. Scabbard showing wear and scuffs, missing belt stud.
