    Lot of Two (2) Gene Baskett Custom Knives, in Custom Case.

    Comprising: 1) Approximately 13-inches overall. 6 1/2-inch hand rub satin Damascus finish fixed blade marked BASKETT. Nicely figured wood scales with scrollwork engraved satin stainless bolsters. Filework present. Mosaic pins. 2) Approximately 12-inches overall. 6 1/2-inch hand rub satin finished blade marked BASKETT. Nicely figured wooden scales with engraved satin stainless bolsters. Filework also present. Mosaic pins. Both knives contained in wooden case with red velour lined interior. Both knives marked with engravers initials HL on bolsters. Research suggests HL is Harry Liming, engraver.
    Note: According to his website, He has been a Custom Knife Maker since 1980 and joined the Knifemaker's Guild in 1981 and was inducted as a voting member in 1983.

    Condition: Both are fine to excellent, showing little use or handling, fine scratches on blade from storage. Handle with faint marks and wear as well. Wooden case in very good condition some staining, with minor wear, scuffs to corners and top lid.
